From October 1–4, 2026, the Imperial Citadel of Thang Long becomes a meeting place for cultures from around the world. Returning to Hanoi for its second edition, the World Culture Festival 2026 is themed “Heritage Convergence – Creating the Future”, bringing together music, cuisine, traditional dress and heritage stories from across the globe in one of Hanoi's most historic settings.
Where Cultures Meet in the Heart of Thang Long
This year's festival brings together representatives from 50 countries and international organisations, featuring 45 cultural spaces, 35 international food stalls, as well as art, cinema and fashion programmes.
Over four days, visitors can experience cultures from around the world without leaving Hanoi — tasting traditional dishes, discovering national costumes, enjoying live performances and learning about different cultural traditions.

More than an international gathering, the festival creates a unique dialogue between past and present, as cultures from five continents come together within the historic setting of the Imperial Citadel of Thang Long.
Four Days of Culture and Experiences
The festival opens on the evening of October 1, followed by a series of activities through October 4.
Highlights include the World Culture Village, Flavours of Five Continents, Five Continents Concert, fashion showcases, cinema programmes and creative experiences connecting heritage with technology.
On October 3, the “Colours of the Five Continents” programme brings the celebration beyond the festival grounds with a vibrant street experience.

October is one of the most pleasant times to discover Hanoi. This year, the season comes with an additional cultural highlight at the Imperial Citadel of Thang Long.

An Autumn Cultural Rendezvous in Hanoi
Located at 80 Cua Bac Street, Wil'que Hotel Hanoi offers a convenient base near the festival, with easy access to Phan Dinh Phung Street, Ba Dinh and Hanoi's historic neighbourhoods.

Begin the day beneath Hanoi's tree-lined streets, spend the afternoon discovering cultures from around the world at the Imperial Citadel, and end it as the city lights come on. This October, Hanoi welcomes more than autumn. The world is coming together in the heart of Thang Long.
